Creating art is an excruciatingly soothing process that is imperative to my being. I completely immerse myself in this paradoxical, meditative state where nothing else exists. Catalyzed by its concept, I lose myself in a personal expedition that turns inner vision to outer reality. This vision is materialized from the unseen, but often felt or known. I am interested in using large-scale canvases and the body's potential to express emotion and philosophical concepts related to the human condition. Building upon my graffiti art roots, I've developed a gritty fresh style of photorealism painting that I use to unite concept with aesthetics. Using a spectrum of subject matter from struggles to passions, I attempt to draw the viewer in to empathize and ponder a reflection of their own internal feelings or experiences.
